Hawth Gymnastics is a British Gymnastics registered club, which has been running classes for over 20 years in Crawley, West Sussex. In 2005 the club moved into a purpose built gymnastics hall within the new local leisure centre, called K2. www.k2crawley.org.
We offer a full programme of classes from 6 month old babies up to teenage groups. At present there are over 1,200 members. Our main disciplines are Men’s Artistic and Team Gym which we offer squad training up to 16 hours per week.
Hawth Gymnastics has the opportunity for a Recreation / Pre School coaching position from September 2010.
The successful applicant will be allocated 20 hours of work per week. School term time only.
Further hours of work could be offered at a later date, to the right applicant.
Some holiday work may be available during Easter and Summer breaks.
The hours of work will be on a split shift basis. (Some early starts, some late finishes).
The hours will be within the K2 centre along with some work in local schools at after school clubs.
You will be working with children aged 6 months to 14 years, with a wide range of abilities.
The applicant should have some experience of coaching independently as well as working as part of a team.
Training will be offered in first aid, child protection and other gymnastics disciplines where applicable.
