Congratulations to the Hawth teams who competed at the National Finals. The Junior Girls finished a respectable 7th while both the primary boys and girls finished 3rd, bringing the club home 2 sets of Bronze medals!

There were more than 20 gymnasts representing Hawth over the weekend. The boys all performed extremely well. the weekend was a very fun and rewarding event. Well done to all the boys who competed today and to their coaches Richard, Tim & Josh.

The team gym girls and their coaches, packed bags, carried groceries to shopper's cars and spent time talking to members of the public about their preparations for the British Finals and their Italy training camp.

The girls from Hawth had a great day at the Sussex 4 piece competition in Burgess Hill. They came home with ten medals in all.

Hawth have raised over £3,000 towards the Team-gym training camp. There is still the "Sainsbury's Bag Packing" this Sunday, and Kiera and Steph have been offered £200 to dive off of the 5m diving board at K2 on Sunday 19th of May.

The use of the trampoline for children under the age of 3 will be restricted to reduce the risk of neck injuries.

Our 4 piece girls took part in the Chichester invitational competition on Sunday and performed very well. They brought home 9 medal for the club

Crawley Council feels better use could be made of the ground floor gymnastic and bowls hall areas. The changes proposed will have a major effect on our club.

British Gymnastics are developing an exciting new Performance Pathway Programme with a view to increasing the quality and size of the current talent pool across England and Northern Ireland, to enable successful transition into British Gymnastics High Performance Squads.

British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) have officially confirmed the athletes selected to represent Great Britain at the 2013 World University Games (WUGs) in Kazan, Russia, taking place next month from 6th - 17th July.

On the 8th and 9th June, British Gymnastics held its 4th National Club Conference. The weekend was a great success with over 100 attendees from various clubs across the country. There was a great variety of workshops on offer and three add on modules for delegates to attend across the weekend, all of which were aimed to help develop their gymnastics clubs.
