Hawth Host Regional Championships

Sunday 1st March 2015

This was a busy day for Hawth; we hosted the annual Regional Men's Artistic Championships. There were over 70 entrants from across the south-east region competing here during the day.

It takes a lot of hard work to host an event like this in our gym. Hawth is extremely grateful to the parents for their help in setting up the gym on Saturday, during the day, and putting the gym back together at the end of the day. We simply could not hold this kind of event without your help.

We also trialed a new score system during the day, which was a great success. Do ask Kevin Payne about it if you are interested.

There were 5 Hawth boys in this category. These boys have never appeared at an event like this before, and they did the club proud with their performance. Linus Carminger came 2nd with 36.65. Oliver Heath scored 33.15, Zachary Love 32.650, Alfie Byers 32.30 and Harry Howarth 30.70.
