Hawth Gymnastics Holiday Activities

Every school holiday (excluding Christmas and bank holidays, using West Sussex term dates) we run holiday activities, they are a great way to break up the boredom of the long holidays and can also be used by children on our waiting list to keep up their interest in gymnastics while they wait for a full time space in our recreational classes. Our preschool holiday sessions can also be used as "taster sessions" for our regular preschool classes.

We run two types of holiday courses, one for children who are at full time school (max age 13) and one for those who are aged 6 months to 4 years. Children who are about to start school can attend the afternoon sessions of the school-ages courses in the summer.

Recreational Holiday Courses (for children at full time school to 13 years)

Monday - Thursday of each week of the holidays we run courses for children aged 4  - 13. The courses run 9am to 12pm and 1pm - 3pm; children can attend both sessions and bring a packed lunch. 

These courses are a great way to experience gymnastics at Hawth and if a child attends all day they will get to experience all of our equipment throughout the day (where age appropriate).

The children will take part in gymnastics based activities for the whole session.

Children who stay all day will also get an hour break for lunch and must bring a packed lunch with them. We will be eating lunch on tarpaulins in the gym, so please think carefully about the kinds of food in packed lunches - the less mess the better!

Please note that these courses are NOT CHILDCARE (and therefore we do not accept any childcare vouchers), children who are booked on the course should be willing and keen to do gymnastics all day. 

The following time slots and prices are offered:

Morning Session (9am - 12pm) - £24

Afternoon Session (1pm - 3pm) - £16

All Day Session (9am - 3pm) - £40

Preschool Holiday Drop In Sessions

On Friday mornings of the holidays we run a drop in and free play session for children aged 6 months to 4 years. There are two session at the following times:

9:30am - 10:30am

10:45am - 11:45am 

The session consists of 15 - 20 mins of warm up with action songs and stretches followed by 45 mins of free play in the gym.

These session are for adult and child to do together and each adult may supervise up to two children. We kindly ask that you do not bring older siblings to the session.
